Secular humanism was taught in high schools and colleges, and practiced every where for decades running.  In the main it was intended to allow greater tolerance and diversity.  It was a philosophy of teaching and learning.   Aggression is discouraged in favor of kindness, accommodation and love.  These days, no one gives a shit about secular humanism.

Might be time to dig it back up.  Humanists believed in ignoring hostile or abusive behavior while responding favorably to prosocial stuff.   Ignore Donald Trump.   Focus on human relations, the way people used to before aggressive behavior became the thing.   Resolve conflict.  Teach tolerance.   Promote creativity.
