A Guest Editorial

Hello everyone, friends, people I hope will become friends, people still harboring flailing concepts of friendship...    I am a guest contributor to Bruce Reisner's blog.  Thanks, Bruce, for this opportunity.

My name is Ogremass  Smithschlager, and I am a recent immigrant to consciousness.   Space is bullshit.  Time is whatever it says on the clock.  No one has to believe an appliance, or take any shit off of it.   Time is shitty for its obsession with how long things take.  Space is obstreperous for being occupied with common stupid jerks and rubbish.  Yet there are nice things.

Cognition travels the way everyone wished Eurail worked.   Free particulates and waves.  Did you know that particles can whoosh over to their physician's office, and have a surgery that converts it to a wave?  My thinking roves transient and not paying for shit.    Let's get to weed.

Bruce Reisner, host of this ripsnorting blog, will have nothing to do with marijuana.  He's a prude.  I like the shit, and don't mind talking about it here, on Bruce's blog.  My blog is none of anyone's fucking business, unless they are A-list personage.   I don't let hoi-poloi read my blog.  But that's a personal choice.  Bruce thinks differently. He still plays the egalitarian card.  Tut.   A one-legged woman got on the elevator, and told me, off handedly, giddily, cheerfully, happily that she just smoked weed and was high as a Georgia pine.

I boarded on the eleventh floor, me dour and like I  am.  A nut job.  Bruce has been very empathetic. He likes to help fucked up people.  Nice guy.  Going down, it stops, doors open and the lady in her modern lite wheel chair device boards.  Being a helpful cuss I say, "what floor, mam?"

I'd never seen the woman smile before.  We've been neighbors in subsidized highrise for seniors for two years now, and she's been one legged and dour every moment previous to this elevator going down.  She started cracking jokes about elevators, elevator buttons, and I don't recall what else.  The woman has a sense of humor.   A lively, alert, genuinely comical sense of humor, and she was letting it go,no pretense, no harm, just a little good happy horseshit on the elevator going down.   She was entertaining and blissful. High as a Georgia pine.

I'd never seen that most typically dour one-legged woman at all happy, and this time around she had smoked herself into happyville, and she let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.  It was an inspiration.  Bruce doesn't give a shit because he doesn't approve of drugs.  He's a prude.   No fun.  But it's sure decent of his old ass to let me use his blog space to make my point.  I don't let just anyone read my blog.  But Bruce, he's egalitarian.  Thanks for reading.

Wee-hoo my comrades, all of you! I'm an ass to do this another round, but I must needs to equate Trump's behavior these last hundred days with economist Milton Friedman's free market economic theories.  I like Milton, even if the political left hates little Milton bad.

Friedman believed that in an unregulated free market, individuals are at liberty to compete for cash and prizes.  Accordingly, income equality is complete BS, the spoiled mayonnaise of commie hopes.  People act upon opportunity.   People form relationships in mutual interest.  It is believed that small business owners tend have mutual interest in sustaining peace, so as not be disrupted in their work.   Friedman is best liked by libertarians who tend to believe big government is bad for business and bad for a free society. In this point, big government is acting as an authority.  People must comply with the fed, and with regulatory agencies of all sort.   Returning to Trump, less federal government could mean less interference in commerce.  This point of view is common to the conservative right, understanding they are wealthy no matter how the fish fry.

Trump is reducing the scale of the federal government.  I don't support any politicians.  A US president is, to me, just another stupid prick.   I didn't say Thomas Jefferson or Geo Washington were pricks, or douche bags.   Bill Clinton did the prison industrial complex, mass incarcerating black people.  One of the Bush fam said the Constitution was just a piece of paper, and did the Patriot Act.   The Affordable Care Act was grotesque, and protects to this day the wealth and power of the medical establishment.  Returning to whatever, the current downsizing of Fed Gov could be step one to a productive free market economy.  With less regulation, and with less lobbying at the fed level.

I'm dragging Milton Friedman's economics through the garden in case anyone cares to equate what Trump does with what Milton discussed.  If you feel this is stupid, you may be correct.  One can hate a person and still admit the asshole is right about a goddam thing or three.  And wrong about jesus fuck what else.  Just equate Friedman's economics with what is happening now, and, that aside, have yourself a ball. Over and out, dear ones.

Sad thing about theories is they're usually wrong. That said, there's an old one about chaos. Dragging this idea through the garden, by inducing a state of chaos, say in the world economy, and the domestic one, too, individuals and organizations are forced to seek order from chaos. The tariff program might produce a crazy quilt of outcomes good and bad. The panic it is inducing, according to the theory, will force people to change the economy, culture, behavior, and whatever else is in the sauce. There may be an explanation for inducing chaos now.

For example, persons displaced in the government downsizing may be forced to seek work in other sectors of the economy. The need for money could drive people to invest in business and industry, as GOPs tend to believe will happen. The chaos theory, this time around could result in new directions in business and social politics. It might also induce a long, miserable recession. I just wanted to chunk out an outlying way of looking at what's up with the Fed. Thanks for reading.

Singing like a canary, I'm a voting democrat.   Discussing the sense in conservative politics, and philosophy.

Lyrical as an ape playing a harp, Dem leaders have everyone in their camp opposing everything Trump does.   It is a strategy of constant, total opposition to what Trump does, irrespective of merit or potential harm.   Anything he does will have shitty outcomes in the mix.   Dems are preventing positive outcomes by opposing blindly his every move.

Dems are forcing Trump to act autocratically.   If they were able to support Trump selectively, they might establish productive working relationships hither/thither.  And they might do well for dems and GOPs alike.   The opposition strategy failed to stop the music during Trump's first presidency.  It won't work this time either.   Learn to fucking compromise and to conduct fair point by point analysis.  Democracy can be restored.  For now, enjoy the show.

Philosophy on the hoof.  This is it.    No political parties.   No politicians.    Assholes, all.   What if people already achieved liberation from patriarchies, stereotypes, authorities, abusers, and fuck who knows else?

Then  there wouldn't be any problem doing free speech.  No one's rights and freedoms could be impinged upon.   Everyone would be safe in their affected, imprinted and groomed sense of self.

Pardonez, sensitive people. This post is deliberately crude. It's art. An Art Form. Surely someone understands.
